Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew

Updated: Nov 19, 2021

Name : Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew

Author : Carolyn Keene

Age Group : 7 and Above

Category : Mystery

Many would have read Nancy Drew, the mystery book series where a trio of girls solve big mysteries. In these books, people get kidnapped, drugged, hurt and more. Simply saying, these may be for the age group of maybe 12 and above. Moreover, these books are serious mysteries, and will probably not happen to any of us.

But "Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew" is another series where the same trio have much milder adventures. It is the younger version of the trio. We can also say, that it is the younger version of "Nancy Drew", and is suitable for ages 7 - 10. For more advanced readers, this helps to relax from the high thriller books, and just keeps our mind calm. It uses simple words but the thrill does not reduce. This is written by Carolyn Keene. There are a total of 39 books in this series, sadly, many of them not available online.

The "Clue Crew" is a detective agency, the trio - Nancy Drew, Bess Marvin and George Fayne run by themselves. They are the closest friends and Bess and George are cousins, though their characteristics are quite different. Nancy is clever and witty, Bess is mad on electronics, and George more of a tomboy, hates to wear frocks, or any type of accessories.

Since this is a kids series, the mysteries too, are easy to understand - Stolen toys, April fool's pranks, A rare butterfly missing, a missing unicorn, and more. Another advantage here is that it is easy to imagine whenever we read it. each of them have images, which makes it much more fun to read. it has big fonts and they are not more than 100 pages each.

There is nothing to not like about these books. They are children-friendly, easy to read and interesting, without making it addictive.

I would like all of you to try these books and have a lot of relaxing moments.
